Apple has today announced that the iPhone will be available to UK customers exclusively on O2 as from the 9th of November. This was announced by Steve Jobs this morning at a press conference held at the Apple Store on Regent’s Street, London.
Here’s what you need to know if you are in the UK:
iPhone comes with free Wi-Fi!
Apple has made a deal with The Cloud iPhone will have free unlimited1 access to 7,500 Wi-Fi hotspots throughout the UK.
iPhone costs £269 (same price as the iPod Touch) with an 18 month O2 contract.
The available price plans are:
£35 a month for 200 talk minutes and 200 text messages.
£45 a month for 600 talk minutes and 500 text messages.
£55 a month for 1200 talk minutes and 500 text messages.
