preview.pngIf you enjoy using tabs in Safari or in Firefox, you will be glad to know that Mac OS X’s Preview.app offers a very similar feature for images. By default, Preview will open a window for each image that you open. However, Preview.app is also able to display multiple images in a single window. You simply need to set this in the Preview.app Preferences.

previewmult.pngWhen set to “Open all images in one window”, Preview.app will load all your images and show you the thumbnails for each image in the drawer that then opens on the right side of the Preview window. You can then click on any thumbnail you wish to view the image.

Preview.app also allows you then to reorder the images by simply dragging and dropping them within the drawer.
