MacBook wants 4TB of hard drive space
That’s right folks, my MacBook demands to have 4TB (no typo here, that’s Terabytes or 4000 GB) of space!
This happened when I tried turning on OS X’s File Vault’s feature, which (when it works) automatically encrypts and decrypts the contents of your home directory in real time.
Now, I am not that fussed about having my files encrypted but I thought if the software to do the encryption is already there and that it will even do it on the fly, why not have the extra layer of security just in case… But it doesn’t look like a 4TB notebook hard disk will be on the market any time soon!
It looks like this is a known bug that hasn’t been solved yet. If you have come across this bug and know of a work around, please let us know.
